@cindeler I used to sit next to a Ghanaian guy at work who said they started being a bit stricter checking the ages of their Under 21s team a few years ago, which may be why they did so well in the last World Cup.

@teetotalhater actually Kanu really isnt over 40, if u grew up with him u'll know that. Most african players DO LIE about their ages but Kanu might be off by a yr or 2 but he isnt over 40. martins on the other hand is probably lying about his age. Most people who play soccer in nigeria tend to age faster than the rest of the world due to over exposure to sunlight and playing/practicing in the heat for so long. i dont know if uve ever been to west Africa but where i come from is hot like crazy
