ZX Spectrum: MDA (Demo, Busy Software, 1991)

At it's heart, MDA is a chiptune player with a bunch of ripped tunes, which normally doesn't merit much attention. However, the front end offers some impressive technical hackery: smooth full-colour animated which don't appear to suffer from colour clash and a scroller at the top which extends into the border! Some very careful timings must have been required to make this work, which makes it worth a look...
