End of the "Temporal Cold War" Arc of Star Trek: Enterprise (ep Storm Front II), where Daniels tells Archer the war is over. I always liked the idea of being in a room with history flying all around me for some reason.
@MrDeano324 - Sarcasm does not always equal hostility. I did not use any visual aids yet you still understood my point. Of coarse we both know I couldn't ask anyone in the year 2200 so it should have been immediately obvious to you that it was humour. Not only that, If id have put a smile after I said "i'll see what I can do" it would have come across as though I was taking the piss.. which I wasn't, just having a laugh. This argument is trivial, lets just leave it at that and agree to disagree.
Don't patronise me. Quoting a part of my comment then saying "I'll see what I can do", sounds very sarcastic as obviously I know you cannot physically ask someone from 2200. So saying that came across as sarcastic. And we are not in a school English lesson. You can say whatever or do whatever you want to get your point across clearly. We can tell humour and anyother emotion by someones facial expression and tone of voice. In text we do not have that aid. So it needs to be clear.
@MrDeano324 - I can sense you are very tense MrDeano324. Take a deep breath and re-read what you have just said. I was originally giving you a slice of humour, which you got angry about. My sarcastic comment should have come across as a warning to get yourself one.
Unfortunately visual aids are not part of the English language. You have to learn to read between the lines.
If that was a sarcastic comment. In future I would advise making yourself more clear. Maybe putting a :) at the end of the sentence. It is very hard to transfer emotions in text without some sort of visual aid...
Star Trek is completely inrealistic to our generation. But ask someone in 2200 if the 200 year old show "Star Trek" was unrealistic, and they will most definately say, "no, not at all" ;)
What TV show isnt these days. Although in Star Trek, it is quite ironic. As all of humanity is supposed to be united as one. But they do have one British, one east asian, and one african crew member lol...
This is like Quantum Leap! LOL...
