  • you should learn to shift at 6499 rpm

  • @miamidolphin22 - No need to go for max rpm on a relative low revving turbo engine (with a small CT26 turbocharger).

You get max pull @ 6k and when upshifting, the revs will drop back to max torque thus pulling hard.

  • 7m stock is 230bhp, you can't get 300bhp with intake and exhaust only.

  • @shipkiller6666 - You can with upping the boost, like I did.

  • It's stock ?

  • @MrPatRRick - Check video description

  • @shipkiller6666 hmm i guess you're rite is there anyway to do the turbo upgrade diy style? im not down to pay 750 for it.

  • @AquAcid perhaps with a tune but you won't get more really. the 57 trim with the mods you mentionned is the best way to go (I have 550c, full 3" exhaust, lex maf, aftermarket IC and 2.5" ic piping, 57 trim ct-26, no tune and I output approx 330whp @ 13psi while being in the 10:1 afr

  • @shipkiller6666 yes on the stock turbo google mk3 dyno sheet buddy is making 314 wheel torque at 12psi with just a safc2 tune, lexus maf and 550c injectors open exhaust

  • @AquAcid not on stock turbo

  • @shipkiller6666 yes you can... you just need a $30 boost controller like he has and increase the boost to 12 pounds it will easily make 300

  • @RAJSTA81 i know your comment is 2 months old, but i may as well say

the ONLY problem was the headgasket torque from factory, so the headgasket itself and the bolts were perfectly fine just, again, not tight enough due to a last minute change of the gasket material which wouldve needed different torque specs

that and the stock exhaust, especially the turbo elbow, was way too restrictive for what the 7M chucked out, just an exhaust mod can give a 7M new life and plenty grunt
