Finally smart youtube comments. Ive been reading other comments on this movie saying how bad it sucked and all kinds of shit on jaden. He had a pretty big part in the movie. Hes one who begins to show keanu feelings. If you didnt like the movie you just weren't educated enough for it. youre fucking ignorant. It gives a good MESSAGES and makes you THINK. about the life we live. be grateful. and also about "global warming". We need to act. but we only do it till we're on the brink.

This was a good movie, except I didn't really care for Jaden Smith. He had one funny line and that was "Oh yea, I forgot, you are an alien. You don't understand anything." lol.

Other than that the movie was good. It IS trying to tell us that we are killing this planet earth. This planet is alive and it can feel pain. Thanks to our ignorance about this planet we may die in the near future.

The real tragedy is that this human race already knows it'll happen and most humans don't care.

@fablan6 actually the movie called "Knowing" with nicholas cage is just like the movie you described, in which humanity gets wiped out, but by a massive solar flare. aliens come and take some of the children of earth to a distant and safe planet to restart the human race. so watch it and you can sort of see what human erradication would be like.

Just an other "poor little good humans attacked by evil alliens who wnated to so unfairly kill us all but in the end we survived cause we touched them with our kindness" movie. Will there ever be a movie where the alliens actually come and wipe us all out for the evils we have fone upon this world? The original was much better. It delt with fact. Atomic power, weapons and space travel. To change it into an environmental message is an insult to the human intelligence and disrespectful of the great works of all the original people involved.
