This is what I've got of this song so far. If you don't know, this is a song I've started writing not too long ago about my future wife. I believe God has someone picked out for everyone to marry, a woman for a man, and a man for a woman. I know God has made someone out there for me to get married to someday, but sometimes I wonder if I will ever even meet her, or if I will miss her. That thought worries me. It's been on my mind a whole lot lately. The friends that I grew up with in school are now getting married and some even having kids (and some having kids before marriage). :O They're running off and moving on in the next and most important step of their lives, and leaving me behind in their dust behind them left with no one to marry. :( I've wanted to write a song like this for a while now. Kinda unique. It's a combination of a contemporary Christian song and a lovesong. And it's something that's kind of been on my mind lately, so I thought I would try and write it. I'm surprised at how well the lyrics turned out! Also, it almost seemed as if right after I started writing this, it could already be used! Some of my friends began to have relationship problems and divorces and things. Funny how God works, but at least He works. :)
The electric guitars and acoustic guitars are played by me... as well as the lead guitars. The vocals, I still have yet to record. However, I do have a synth instrument called a "Sawtooth," or "Natural Lead," or something like that. When the lyrics show up, you'll know what instrument is the vocal line... it's the one that moves the most. :P Lead is in the center, but the BGV's are more towards the right speaker.
Yea, I'm somewhat embarrassed to write things like this. Guys may think I'm a wierd man, but I think women appreciate it when a guy shows his soft side... or I've been told that before. :P And I'm a really soft guy too... soft as cotton candy... jk. :P
But listen to the lyrics! If you think you are the one whom this song is written for (girls only, and this might sound funny but...) listen to the lyrics. This is my prayer to God talking about whoever this girl may be. Whether it's you or not, it might be good to get some girls' opinions on the song. :) Guys too, but this song is written for a girl... so yea. :) It's also romantic to write a song about your lover. :P I never had much of a love life though. :/ Mainly because I was and still am a very quiet person and I could never go up to the girl I liked and ask her on a date... hence the reason why the 2 girlfridns I did have asked me instead. Yea, I believe it is best for the man to ask the girl, but I'm so shy! I don't want to embarrass myself, but it shouldn't be embarrassing to express who you love or whatever. :P
PS - Christians! Please pray for me! Yea, for me finding my wife and all, but here lately as I have been working a lot on this song, I feel like God has been trying to tell me something. Maybe that she's close, I don't know, but I've been confronted a lot with "leadership" and "being a leader of the family" a whole lot! Like on the radio, I'll hear about how a husband should lead his wife, and how he is to be the leader of their family. A leader is one thing I believe I am not, but I also believe with the help of God, I can be formed into the leader that God is calling me to be as a man. I'm growing up! I used to be 13, now I'm 21! I'm becoming a man, and with the fact of being a man comes the responsibility of leadership. Whether she is close or still far away, I feel I have been confirmed by God that He is still sending her my way. I only hope I know who she is and that I do't miss her.

Yayz! That's good! :P Yea, if you knew me in person, you'd find that talking to me online is way different than in person. :) Online, I'll send you a 2 page message or something, but in person, all you might get out of me is a "yea," or "I don't know," or sometrhing like that. :P
I sorta asked someone out online one time, but she said no. :( Oh well, not for me I guess. :) She's still a great friend though, and trombone player... or she was a good trombone player. :)

And about what you wrote about shyness, girls always want to be asked, and (at least the ones you'd want to care about) will respect you if you get up the courage to ask.
