  • @ThePhatShack Roger still had 2 films left in him after Connery played his "Retired" Bond.

  • Let's take it into consideration that he aged better than Connery. Connery came out with Never Say Never Again when Roger Moore came out with Octopussy. Connery was so old looking he had to play a "Retired" Bond. Roger only really showed his age in this one after he got that damn facelift. He still looked great in Octopussy. But He ended Bond at 57 (55 looking good in Octopussy) and Connery technically ended in 12 years earlier. Consider how aged Connery looked in Diamonds Are Forever.

  • @GoldeneyeMarine Not true!

  • The thing with Roger was he got too old for the role very quickly. By For Your Eyes Only, he was aging, visibly. But if he hadn't got the role, we would have had Dalton in his twenties, which I think he nailed when he said he'd be too young. If you don't believe me, look it up. Finding the perfect Bond is a fine art. You want him in his late thirties to fit the role, but you want to get as many films as you can out of him. Craig has signed on for Five more allegedly. • Considering Roger Moore's age when he did this film, he did brilliantly! He's an inspiration!

  • I often wonder how Sean Connery would have approached these films, considering he is 3 years younger than Roger Moore. Connery would have been 55 years old in A View To A Kill .

  • Nobody does it better than Barry.

Nobody does it better than Moore.

  • @SuperXboxrules

He was almost 60 when he did this film. He was getting too old for the role. When I watched his movies I didn't notice his age in them. To me he is the Best Bond

Bronson was supposed to be Bond in the 80's but his contract with the NBC show Remington Steele prevented his from doing so.

  • WTF he's about 60 yrs in dis movie damn 0.o

  • @SuperXboxrules Its because Sir Moore is 46 years old in Live and let die and in this he is 58 years old.
