what if you have a video that already has music? can you mute that music and put in a different song?

You can. Once you have added your music, click on audio mix from the "Home" section. Slide the bar to the side with the musical note to include as much of the added audio track as you'd like.  Hope this helps!

Sorry, but the speed up/slow down feature isn't available in this version of Windows Live Movie Maker. Please let the developers know that's something you'd like to see included in future versions:

Do you have a video clip added? You must first have a video clip before you can add a music track.
