Trash the "Metal Gear" Title, these games should be called "Snake" for mankind's sake
of all the Snakes out there, my favorite would be Naked Snake (Big Boss) in MGS3, not because he's the original, but because he Started a Saga

@guilhermejrm Each "Snake" had accelerated aging written into their genes, in the event that they were taken hostage by an enemy or if they betrayed the Patriots. Solidus had faster accelerated aging so that the Patriots could have him become president of the United States. SOURCE: MGS 2 & 4.

@N6600 I've been wondering for 2 years now

@chrisleaptrott This isn't canon.
That, or it's Drebin with an Australian accent. Unlikely though.

who is this nameless narrator whom will follow solid snake until the bitter end? lol

epic.

Kinda funny how if you look at Big Boss when he was just starting out in Snake Eater, Solid Snake and him look like like spitting images. But if you look at Big Boss in MGS4 and Solidus they look exactly the same. While in peacewalker BB is lookin' a bit like young S. Snake, fused with older solidus. But then you see liquid... He's a total outcast when it comes to the looks of Snake, BB, and Solidus... Even voice wise.... only thing he had going was his fighting skills. We all know how that went

to quote the Wiki entry.

The accelerated aging written into each clone's genes was apparently designed to be faster in Solidus's case, thus producing the required figurehead for The Patriots (a United States President in the image of Big Boss) in a relatively short space of time as well as providing the same fail-safe of limited life-span should the clone fall into enemy hands or turn against the organization. As a result, Solidus appeared considerably older than his cloned brothers, despite being created afterwards.

and he does say almost the exact same things Snake says in the game at times.
I think I speak for all us Metal Gear solid fans when I say Metal Gear made us who we are today, all the games from the NES to the
PS3. Each game took awhile for the next to be relesed, I will personally say I grew up playing them. Snake will never be forgoten in my eyes rather this be the last game or they make 40 more.
