The scenario: Game 6 of the 1994 NBA Finals. The Knicks are leading the series 3-2. The Rockets are leading this game 86-84. The Knicks have the ball and inbound it to John Starks. If he hits a 3-pointer, the Knicks are the NBA champions. Hakeem Olajuwon confronts Starks.

should have pump faked. Especially at the angle Hakeem was coming at. But hindsight is always 20/20. Only thing you can do is learn, and incorporate it in your game.

Blech! Just like torturing myself I guess. Because I watch this all the time, and EVERYTIME I watch it, I hope somehow it's different. I hope Starks gets the shot off because I swear he was hitting that 3, and The Knicks would've been champs!

But not meant to be I guess, but dammit man. Just wanted ONE championship for Patrick Ewing. Hakeem got 2, would've been nice if The Dream let Patrick have this one, and Olajuwon got his next season

I know the NBA office and NBC will disagree with me on this, but the 1 1/2 years Jordan was out of the League the NBA was really fun to watch. Jordan in the 1995 Playoffs was actually human instead of the Legend we all know and love.

During the bulls 1st 3peat the rockets were 5-1 against the bulls. They were the one team that actually matched up perfectly with the bulls but the bulls had no answer for hakeem

BTW, as a Rockets fan, I think the Rockets and Bulls would've split the 94 and 95 Finals. I think our 94 team would've beaten the Bulls with MJ because the Bulls were starting to become a tad bit vulnerable at that time ('93 was the Bulls' most vulnerable title team). Then the Bulls and MJ woulda came back at us in 95 with vengeance and MJ woulda done his thing and probably got us. Too bad we could've seen the Rockets and Bulls go at it in the 90s cuz they were the 90s two best teams.
