@mitgolden76 Sometimes they need maintenance, so the airline will move a plane to the maintenance facility. An aircraft may be 'airworthy' but something may prevent them from carrying passengers. This is better than risking lives, or getting a fine.

I love landing on 26-17-35 at KPHL. I also miss flying the river visu so low I wouldal into KDCA and the expressway visual into KLGA. If the pay wasnt so low I would return to the cockpit.

@mitgolden76 Mostly just for small mechanical issues that dont allow them to fly passengers, usually ferry flights go immediately back to home base for repairs.

radio shack sells a small plug (male on one end, female on the other) that makes mono tone into stero. I just put this plug inline and walla!
