  • a binary number is made of an 8 digit or 8 bit(Binary Digit) combination of 0 and 1's each of those bits has a value starting from the farthest to the right and going farthest to the left each time going to the 2 power farthest to the right the value is 1 then 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 you just turn to on or 1 which binary digit your using for example 1 + 4 is 5 so to get 5 you set the 1 value bit and 4 value bit to 1 so 5 in binary is 00000101
