HOW TO JAILBREAK IOS 5.0.1 UNTETHERED ON iPOD, iPHONE, AND iPAD!

In this video, I show you how to jailbreak your iDevice on IOS 5.0.1 untethered. This Jailbreak works for the following devices:
iPod Touch 4g, iPod Touch 3g, iPhone 4, iPhone 3gs, and iPad 1.

There will be a jailbreak for the iPhone 4S, and iPad 2 coming soon that I will link here-

STEPS
1. Update iDevice to IOS 5.0.1.
a. Go to settings on your device, then software update, and update to 5.0.1. If this isn't available, download the IOS in the link above, and update through iTunes as explained in the video.

2. Download Redsn0w
a. Click on the link above, export the file to a memorable location, and open the Redsn0w program.

3. Jailbreak Process
a. Click jailbreak on the Redsn0w program, plug in iDevice, shut off your device, and click next for DFU instructions.

4. Aftermath
a. Open iDevice after your jailbreak process is through, and find Cydia.

@princePCR I know! i missed YouTube!! I've been busy working on my degree its been nuts!! anyway i wish they did have a jailbreakme updated jailbreak but it is very difficult to find the proper exploit for those types of jailbreaks. if you have any problems with this one let me know and i'll see if i can help.

will they put this up on jailbreakme(dot)com? cos i reckon thats the easiest way to jailbreak it and i have a feeling id break my phone in the process

@intervenience I wish. Jailbreakme is a userland jailbreak. it works differently than redsn0w. Jailbreakme wont be updated for this firmware because finding the exploits for that jailbreak is like crazy hard to do. This jailbreak isn't really hard. if you have problems i'll see what i can do to help.

I did it and when I went to look for new themes in cydia they weren't there and it said cannot locate package
