'Bardo' (Trailer) - Lincoln Center Dance on Camera Festival Jury Prize Nominee- by Richard Move

'Bardo' (Film Trailer), is a 16mm film Directed and Choreographed by Richard Move, which had its World Premiere at the 2009 Lincoln Center Dance on Camera Festival and received the Jury Prize nomination. It has since screened internationally as a part of the Festival's touring program. The film is based upon 'Lamentation Variations', commissioned by the Martha Graham Dance Company, choreographed by Richard Move and performed by Katherine Crockett. Music by DJ Savage. Jury Statement: 'True to its name, Bardo captures a woman on the precipice of two worlds. Ethereal with hints of magic realism, this black and white short has a duality throughout that is provocative and dreamlike, contemporary and yet classic.'
