that's true but allmost any car is buit on another car platform - Chrysler 300c on E class , seat leon on golf , Alfa mito on fiat and so on ... that's it

haha yeah ik. i looked into it more since 9 months ago. and they still own them and have part with design and engineering. but like the 5cyl engines are swedish and the older models are more along the volvo lines than the ford

Most and maybe all volvo's are build on Ford bases (like C30 on Ford focus base)

Well, if I had a c30, I would not leave it stock. I was at an auto show in Boston and I forgot the company which tuned it, but they had a c30. Light blue with lime green pinstripes and 2 nos bottles visible through that rear window. Thats my dream. To own a c30 and stick 2 nos bottles in the back so everyone knows it has balls. HAHA
