Deteriorating Palo Alto Libraries Caused By Management.

The claim that the libraries in Palo Alto are deteriorating is to some extent true--caused by City Management decisions to not repair obviously deteriorating elements of the library facilities and sites. This video looks at a broken light at the Palo Alto Main Library--broken for months. With over a dozen staff members working at this facility, and hundreds of patrons visiting this facility every month--no one seems to have noticed this broken light, and requested it to be fixed.

Endorsing this kind of irresponsible facilities management with a huge rebuilding project will simply endorse this substandard management and start the deterioration process over again on brand new buildings.
