i think she was an angel the whole time because the scene in the school, she disappeared without anyone seeing her

@ShadowZIsGod You know, that's a pretty interesting thought. I kind of just assumed maybe she was an angel throughout the whole episode, because she had been "looking out" for Rickie the whole time. However you've raised a good point- maybe she just became one after dying within days of Angela meeting her? I don't know.

I could never figure out - was she a ghost for the whole episode, or was she alive at first but only died sometime after Angela gives her her boots? Because I always thought she only died sometime after that.

Does anyone else notice who the Angel is?

@_@ so moving...

Jeez, lucky me, not being a high school student in the 90's but I still know and watch this show thanks to my sisters.

best show of the nineties. love this episode so much. :'(

Omg.. I hadn't seen this for 15 years, but it brought back all the memories, and the tears.
I HAVE to get the DVD set.

The Mom earlier this episode said "We had a fight, the kind of fight were the fight has you". Her daugher Angela earlier said that "she is no different than her. " Besides that she may simply knows by feeling her spirit. Angela's Mom doesn't realize she's a ghost at first but she knows just by her spirit or Angel vibrations.

The reason she knows she's dead is because the Angel repeats word for word the conversation the mother had earlier with husband about the fight with the daughter (Angela). "We had a fight, the kind of fight were the fight has you". Hope that clears it up.
SEASON. =P
It only had one season. Shame too, but then again. It's kind of good that it didn't have a chance to get ruined.

OMG, how I used to love that show!
It was well written, the stories were captivating, and you really could relate to those characters.
Pity it lasted only so few seasons. :(
