i don't trust this guy or indeed any of them.
He's a politician and his posh accent gives the game away. He cannot speak for you and me ...so therefore i reckon he's speaking in that political language which sounds good but means something else than what he seems to be saying.
Oh yeah and it appears he is one of the committee of 3 hundred. Tells it all..

Hear hear. I must say, however, about the CML, those who have already bought tickets have just been notified that the tickets now do not guarantee a place in the main hall (obviously they want to print and issue more tickets!). IMO you can't sell a ticket and then just issue more saying it's, 'first come first served'. How ironic given the convention is about liberty, justice etc. I didn't think this was a money-makingg exercise! What do you think?

it's not a money-making exercise. the email went out when ticket sales went up and we realized we may have an issue with over crowding. that email was sent communicate to those who had already bought a ticket that the hall may potentially become full... and that we want to welcome the crowds! you still have full ability to get a refund should you prefer it!
No irony! Just a lot of people at the Convention! :)
