Customizing Hatch Patterns
Short Summery
Another must know action in Revit is setting up custom Hatch Patterns. This comes in very hand when doing tiling lay-outs on wall etc.
There is two way to do this. Simple vertical, horizontal and crosshatch patterns are set up in Revit, under Surface Pattern, New. Very Easy.
Complex Hatch Patterns are a bit more difficult to do. Find the Metric Hatch.pat file on your computer. Edit the file, adding the parameters you need for the new hatch pattern you are building.
Save the file and load into Revit, as per video. Test to see if it worked OK!
End of Tutorial.
