  • @Roxslinger You're a moron....buy some of his albums and hear how good he is...the first slide player to actually play bebop legimately...

  • on the other hand, i don't know what the fuck i'm talking about.

  • hey, great melodic lines here with a fine lyrical sensitivity. what the fuck, it's 1968 and jazz saxophonists are trying to sound like final period of the late Mr. Coltrane, may he rest in peace, without understanding how he arrived there. he took jazz further. then, people copied him. the late Miles Davis went fusion. that was new and interesting. since then, recycled riffs, except for those working outside of 'jazz music.' the quantification of jazz. museum pieces. no soul. poor King Oliver.

  • I just got recommended Dave Tronzo by a friend.

This is the 1st video by him I've seen.

I have to say I'm slightly disappointed: Feeling OK, but this honestly sounds quite crappy... reminds me of Syd Barret, he did stuff like this 40 years ago.

BTW: No autowah but pedal it seems listening to the sweeps.

  • Tronzo is the man. Hes one of the only guitarists I know that can teach as well as he can play. And thats fucking saying something considering this vid

  • saw you today in the elevator at berklee!

  • Is he using an auto-wah for his wah sound?
