Apreciate the tutorials here. BUT, how do you tune your guitar in G ? The method I mean.

@lorehal Good question! :) I usually tune by ear, but if your not into that you can use an electronic tuner, just make sure it is Chromatic, or it won't tune alternate tunings. Good luck.

brilliant lesson just got into delta blues and alot of robert johnson bought a glass slide and thumb pick but most videos dont explain it as esy as you really helpfull lesson thanks andy.

I really wanted to try and give people who know nothing about playing slide a good insight into how to start.

I don't have one on setup yet, but I get asked regularly to make another Slide guitar series. Only problem is I don't have the camera, but will in the next month.

Just Sharing a bit of praise.

This is really well done. I've been playing guitar for a year and have always been interested in slide. Most videos assume too much on the players part where you break things down to the smallest issue.

I'm gonna search your other videos. I hope you have one covering guitar setup. I have two guitars that play beautifully in regular playing but give me fits with a slide.
