This is great but where would I find the basic melody of the tune. I know that I can apply the technique to any tune but it would be tremendous to follow Soldiers Joy to compare my efforts.

Yup,just whizzed thru all 7 lessons,now knuckling down to work my way through. This is really really what I want from the internet, a laidback teaching tool to limp along at,at my own speed.Many thanks and greetings from Scotland Mac (66 going on 17)
