This tutorial is designed to help newbies get a web server setup and running. This tutorial will take you from no web server, to a fully working WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) web server installation including "Hello World" in PHP for the hell of it.

  • What path are you talking about?

  • Are you having trouble with port 80 from outside of localhost?

    If you can't see your web server locally then perhaps close everything that would possibly use port 80 then try again.

    Otherwise if you're trying to access your web server from outside your local network you'll need to modify your routers WAN settings to allow traffic into port 80, and you'l need to forward that traffic to your IP.

  • well know fact, instead of typing in "localhost" you can just use "127.0.0.1" or "0.0.0.0"

  • Why don't you just use windows short cut key instead of enso? Windows Key + E = explorer Win key + R then firefox = firefox.
