  • i always love this song and recently i have been implanted with cochlear implants and now the song sounds so much better i`m glad i still enjoy the cars

  • @gmills65 I LOVED THE 80's from START TO FINISH ! Best decade in history. Very little USA wars, a fun president, and boy golly, we had the Cars ! meep meep

  • @gmills65 Too many pot heads. Too many teasers. Too many crooked cops. Too many lawyer's sons selling dope with impunity. Too much crazy nonsense.

    I went overseas.

  • @centurion180ad Huh? The 80's were a great time! If you didn't "enjoy" the times or the "realities of its culture", too bad 'cause my friends & I sure as hell did. I wouldn't give up the 80's for anything! But, then again, we didn't over analyze it all and just lived for the moment, coming of age and growing into adulthood. Fantastic times were the 80's!

  • Don’t get me wrong. This is a //fantastic// album.

It just doesn’t reflect the realities of its culture, in its time.

    It is a superlative fiction.

HEARTBEAT CITY describes wonderful times, which nobody enjoyed.

The song DRIVE is as veiled of a warning as it comes, and is a far cry too mild from the reality of the day.

  • great tune!

  • Great songs on this album. Just think how much they would have rocked our minds and soul if they let Elliot loose to have a hand at ripping up some solos. Just saying.

  • thanks,,,

  • There's a lot of passion in this song.

  • This album is one of the #1 80's classics of all times, on my honor.
