@guromaon Montoya did lead pratically all the race .Toward the end of the race ,he had more than five seconds of advantage and just after the last pit stop he had a penalty because ,they sayd, he was speeding in to the pit line..
Montoya was very disappointed for that penalty because the system in to the car during pit showed clearly green light ,everything right .
After the complain ,judges said that their system in to the pit line sometime can work differently from the system into the car.

I have recorded and watched that race so many times. How good memories. Montoya had a gearbox problem but he was having an awesome race, like 7 seconds in front of the #2

Simply shameful ,Nascar was obviously guilty. Montoya has been deliberately boycotted at Indy 2009 and we will stay here to repet that day after day, the shameful Nascar will start to undertand what does it mean to do shameful things.All the world know clearly what happened ,obviously Ganasi team says nothing because they know that it would be simply worse ,but the unspeakable people of the Nascar establishment will face ...day after day ....the shameful thing they did ....

Well it's still NASCAR but he won the 24 hours of Daytona, but I couldn't agree more, Montoya had true talent, his major problems though were his temper and the reliability of the car. Don't get me wrong Montoya was my favorite open wheel driver, and for the most part he still is. I miss him as much as anyone else.
