From a very old family recipe, that remains a closely guarded secret, this mustard is hand-made by the Benedictine Sisters at Queen of Angels Monastery. The proceeds help feed a small community of local homeless people, and migrant families.

  • Hmm I dont like mustard but why am I craving one.. very odd o.o

  • Sister Terry told me that many of the lookers/buyers at the farmers market will say they don't like mustard, then (politely) try it. Like the old commercial with Mikey (He likes it! He likes it!), you might be surprised. Sister Terry calls them 'converts' :) !

  • Good video as always. Interesting topic.. And went to the website..

The names of the different variety's of mustard.. made me chuckle bit..

Not a big mustard person but I may check out some of the Honey Mustard they have.

  • Glad you brought up their names, MRSketch09! I thought they were all pretty good. The fellas who initially provided them roasted peppers asked if they could name the new mustard and that's how they came up with 'hallelujah jalapeno'. I hope you have a chance to try one out. I think the honey garlic is my favorite.

  • Well said! I'm not catholic, but at least they're helping others and not having to rely on government money to do it. That's a big plus.

  • Um, out of curiosity, don't you people have anything better to do than bash a bunch of nuns who take in the homelesss and migrants? Don't like their faith, ok, but don't be act like an idiot.

  • Matthew 13:31-32 “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.

  • I wished they'd bring them here in P.R. ~ : o It looks pretty GEWD~

  • Bravo, you go ladies. Because it is manufactured in a monastic setting it has much better vibes than factory mustard. But there are people who just can't feel the difference.

  • if you have nothing nice to say, dont say it because it will hurt they're feelings

  • Awesome way to help serve others and for people to make a donation to a good cause. Check your attitudes at the door and listen to what they were trying to do!

  • Vol - God loves you too :)

  • Dude, I'm what would be considered "atheist" and still this was not about religion but somehow, someway you were going to religiously politicize it.

Nice, that helps a cause. pfft, not.

This was about being kind to fellow humans and making oneself self sustaining and food, something we all need no matter what the POV.
