I love how Ron Paul tries to conceal his racism by saying that he agrees with black people on a few issues. This guy doesn't care about black men in prison. He tries to give the illusion that he is opposes the drug war, when in fact all he wants to do is leave it to the states to decide the fate of the drug war. He loves the idea of "states rights" because he wants to overturn the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He came right out and said it himself.

(1) Paul wasn't even a politician when those newsletters were written. He was a doctor of medicine and just a bit busy (delivering babies)
