HP Pavilion dv7-4054 ca Laptop won't enter sleep mode

Well basically I bought my new laptop last week and It's having trouble entering sleep mode. Just watch the video it explains it. Perhaps it's a driver issue ?

My system :

Intel Core i7 720QM
6GB DDR3 RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
2X 500GB Hard Drive
Windows 7 HP 64

I'd call HP about that. You might have to send it in.

Yea I did contact HP support, I ended up reinstalling Windows 7, I think so far it's working fine now, I hope it stays that way. I'm suspecting the problem might have had to do with the Logitech Wireless mouse. I bought a new mouse a few days ago (Microsoft SideWinder X3 Mouse) and so far it's working well.

If I do experience problems again with sleep then I may very well take it back.

@zabitken what a piece of junk, i have a friend who also wasted 1700$ on this piece of junk, you should of went with the asus G73JH-X1, intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 17.3" 8GB Memory 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870: 1,501.48$ tax&ship incl (to QC,canada).. from newegg, lol at least he got a free xbox 360 and free printer

I have the same computer, Im using it right now, but mine is the 4057 with intel corei5 and only one 500GB hard drive and also 6GB memory and and the finger print reader and mine goes into sleep mode right away. You should call HP about because it could cause other problems.
