Seems like a one time reunion of the legendary Joshua Redman Quartet, with Brad Mehldau, Christian McBride & Brian Blade! This is a tv broadcast of 'Sessions at West 54th St.', originally aired on September 20, 1997

There is an interview with Joshua included, but unfortunately it is shown during Brad's solo...

  • REJOICE!

  • @Jazzupyourazz that's a real crazy thing to say but cool

  • Redman is the most complete musician on this planet right now.

  • The best modern Jazz Quartet with four real leaders ...

  • Kind of unfortunate that the interview is over Mehldau's solo :( Great video though, thanks!

  • @ogulkoker This is "Rejoice" from Redman's third album, Moodswing.

  • Looks like he's playing on a real early selmer in this vid. cool

  • Nunoalpi ...Your Seriously missed on Youtube I have no idea why the powers that be dont realise guys like you are actually promoting jazz musicians to a wider audience!

  • I like your dedication. Nunoalpi's account was the best thing going for youtube jazz. That was a sad loss for a lot of fans

  • What is this piece's name?
