Two years ago, I made this track and was refined with the help of an "adel02", but I decided that it wasn't good enough in construction, driving, and recording. So, with the previous version by said "adel02", I had at it again, eventually resulting in this and avoiding a long paragraph explaining how I got to it. The arduous task was getting three laps in; it took about 20 tries and fatigued fingers. I should've used something else than the Great Star, but nobody really uses it and it seems fitting for a Mario Kart track.

Compared to the last incarnation, this is way faster, and subsequently much harder to keep speed. There's a lot of places to let loose, and many places to lose it all. With the change to the twisted half-pipe, I'm betting that veterans will enjoy the general increase of flow.

  • were you trying to DTD those last 2 laps after the half pipe?

  • @Eddable14 Yeah. It's really hard to do a DTD through a keyboard....

  • @ThunderLuigi949 hell yea. I managed to successfully do one when I downloaded the emulator, but I have the game on 64. waiting for cash to buy a DD.

  • @Eddable14 From what I heard, they're crazy rare because it was a commercial failure. Best of luck to you.

  • how did you make this?

  • @BaraBrandurHenriksen With a track-editing program called the "F-Zero Execution Project", a top-down map of the track, some guessing for the Y-coordinates, and help from an "adel02".

  • How is this game in stereo? I thought the original was mono,,? oO

  • nice ending

  • Impressive that you not only ported the track practically perfectly, but got the length/size proportionally the same as the original as well.

  • @ThunderLuigi949 thanks. It sucks though cause the only place I can find 1 is eBay...
