  • Yep, Im overdue for an update video!

Top speed is now 105mph, Im up to 14,500 ev miles and running strong

  • You can also check out more info about my inverter from my webpage... just put my user name in the address bar.

    cheers

  • The motor was rated 17k rpm, but I had to replace the bearings with sealed ones so max rpm is now 10k.

My inverter is rated 300A at 312V, so assuming it is 85% efficient it is putting out about 80kw.

    Thanks

    -Eric

  • Very Interesting,go forword, my friend. Thanks for the Information

  • @etischer You might want to hook up your brake lights to the regen. somebody is going to plow right in to you. I dont want a wonderful ev smashed like gm did.

  • Excellent video. See my channel electric motor new design. It is very original model of electric motor (it has no accelerating coil, special phase-shifting devices and condensers).

  • do you still accelerate with the "gas" pedal?

  • Got a prius for a rental and fell in love with it . I live in Thailand now and learning about Hybrid conversions I want to do this with a small light weight Mazda Familia pickup .

  • A tesla coil (ignition coil) puts out thousands of volt of electricity, could that be another form of power for an electric motor? Step up, and Step down conversions...

  • Nice and quiet too! I could actually listen to music in a car that quiet!

  • @etischer Hi, where you from? Just curious I'm new to EV and thinking about a build.

  • i believe the problem with electric motor is that hydraulics cant run anymore?
