Because aircraft need to be made of lightweight materials. (Aircraft design is a compromise of performance, weight, construction, etc), so they don't need a big warhead to destroy/damage them...Land vehicles don't have a huge focus on weight, so a good portion of their designs can use heavy materials as armor. They require missiles with bigger warheads to punch holes in them.

@AbdulRa7eeM Because Aircrafts are not so much armored than a Tank, Anti-aircraft weapons like FIM-92 using HE with shrapnels to make much damage as possible on electronic and shape of Aircrafts to destroy it.FIM92 could only damage cameras on Tanks nothing seriously danger for Tank crew or machine.

The warhead wouldn't do anything against an armored vehicle.

@HeildemKrieg More like 350 launchers and 500-1500 missile. It was very effective in the beginning of the war. However, after a few hinds were shot down, the Soviets changed tactics and began to place jammer and flares on their aircrafts. The accuracy would be much higher if they are used by properly trained personnel. Stinger had a much better result in Falkland.
