POLO Tournament - Hot, Sunny and Great!

Teams arrived in Kelowna for a polo tournament on what was one of the hottest weekends this year. Polo players from Vancouver Island to Calgary and beyond competed in the sport of kings. It's FREE to be a spectator and like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman you have a chance to stomp the divots between the chukker. Three rounds (chukker's) of around 7 minutes each and between each round the horses are rotated off.

It was amazing. They're running side by side, bumping, and rubbing, the mallets, the balls can hit their legs. I'm guessing that might not even notice the planes.

That happened at my first tournament, after my final chukka ended and the next game just started a man that played earlier went home and took his plane and landed it on the field... Then drove all the way to the parking lot in the back.
