Is flight attendant stripping part of Irish History and Culture?

I liked this show, it was fun. But if I wasn't an Irish dancer, I never would have known that this dance wasn't ballet. Besides a few occasional skips, there's really nothing Irish about this dance.

why do we have to label this as something, its ballet or irish dance who really cares its dancing, its an expression, it doesn't need a name.

oh yeah, and something didn't make sense in this video. did something happen with the audio of your VHS or DVD player that made this part of the show a little off tune?

the music is nice, but their costumes go over the top revealing their downers, so music: good, costumes: bad

@caitymurphy Riverdance, this show etc. are mainly based on Irish dancing but I've always like the way there's always been an acknowledgment of other styles and traditions. I think MF almost single-handedly got Irish dancing to start to grow and evolve again and I think that's a good thing (not saying Irish dancing wasn't wonderful but it had IMO got a bit stuck with tradition too much).

i dont get it...its irish dance yet halfmor so of them are wearing pointe shoes, and the ghillies that arnt black are painted silver...
