  • Wow Great thanks..

  • Fantastic Mate.... I intend to do the photo tour when I'm out next... got any tips for locations please as thus far only done Ratmala and Fort... Thanx

  • Bandaranayake ruined a beautiful stable country. CGR was a great institution under a general manager called Rampala. There after politicians started appointing their brainless henchmen, they ruined the railways.

Chandrika was another vampire who sucked the blood out of Srilankans.

  • I've been on the footplate at times - It is so slow that you dont actually feel dangerous

  • Nope. M2

  • Nope. Not yet

  • Are there no electrified routes in Sri Lanka?

  • People can actually outrun a sri Lankan train :)

  • Sri lankan trains move only at 20Kmph due to ancient tracks. It is hot, stuffy and loud in the cab. Hence to open doors. A trip to Badulla takes over 10 hours to travel 140 miles.

  • howcome they never close their doors????when they moving i think it's very very dangerous thing to do.
