Never before in my life have the words "Does it hurt when you walk?" broken my heart. It just ripped me up. Seriously. It had me crying like a baby.

He first asks her if it hurts when she walks, then he asks her if she wants to see what he is doing, then he tells her that he will show it to her when it is done and then he asks why she is crying

I'm not sure which part you mean exactly, but that last thing he says is something along the lines of "why are you crying?"

I just watched this amazing movie in French. And one thing that remained puzzling me was that ending dialogue... Please, could someone possibly tell me what Manech says there?? (I'm definitely buying this movie! LOVE it!!)
