Hope you enjoy them! We can't go back to store bought croutons anymore - they just taste like....nothingness.

You sure could! That and crush them up smaller for great 'shake and bake' or just wait until the crouton bag is empty of all but tasty crouton crumbs!

I was making croutons at home for the first time yesterday, and i should of watched this video first because it took me a whole hour hour to make them with raw meterials.

Thanks for the response! They should last quite a while in the freezer then. I am always tossing out half a loaf of bread because it goes bad before used. Now I know what to do with it.

I keep them on the shelf for a few weeks at a time - a couple - in a ziplock baggie.
