Tonight is a GREAT night in American history. It is the first time an African American has become the presidential nominee of a major political party. As Americans (Democratic, Republican, Independent, etc) we should all be PROUD. For we have begun to overcome. In 10 or 20 years, as a people, we will continue to grow and look past color and gender. And a dream that was dreamt and voiced many years ago by a patriotic American, MLK Jr, will be realized. I HAVE A DREAM. I HAVE A DREAM.

Quit being such an Obamunist. MLK's dream has materialized into a nightmare. He wanted to be judged by his character, not by the color of his skin. Obama wants exactly the opposite. He is unqualified and has associations with some very shady characters. If he was judged on his character, he wouldn't pass a security clearance to even be general staff at the White House, much less President. He wants us to judge him solely on the color of his skin and completely ingnore his character.

Obama is a terrorist! How STUPID! First, we're not electing a king or a ruler, rather a president who we can impeach at any moment if he's not protecting the country. Second, no person with some brain would trade your paranoia with that of the CIA, Homeland Security, FBI or any other security agency. You think they are letting known terrorists walk free let alone rule the country! Check yourself into a mental institution before you think all Americans are terrorists except you. What a terrorist!

Well said. MLK Jr helped me to learn to judge character and not skin color. In this election it is really weird because the man is black. When you speak out against his character others just see his skin color. They think they are being non-racist because they are choosing a black man when really they are judging him by his skin color. I might be wrong but it appears that way.

Susan Stern - a now deseased member of the Weather Underground Organization made the link to Charles Manson in her book when she said the weathermen would honor Charles Manson and the family by giving the 3 finger fork salute. representing the 3 pronge fork they (charlie's family) stuck in one of the victim's belly.Hell they kept a picture of Sharon Tate (8 months preg) on the wall in tribute to Manson family and their murders to start a race war.

Mmmm...selective memory on Obama's friends. How many years do a few of the Weathermen currently serving have to go for murdering two policemen and a security guard? Will Obama pardon them as president since their weathermen members helped him get elected? They say now they were just joking when they told teenagers to kill their parents but that is bull. They tried to create a race war just like Charles Manson. Did Mansion copy cat their rehtoric and actions? They fought for a US revolution

If you ever care to investigate the Weather Underground, you'll find that they always called in advance to inform people in the buildings they bombed that there was going to be an explosion, so that no one would be harmed. No one was ever harmed in their bombings except for one case which was an accident and also killed three of them. So to call them "terrorists" is an extremely pathetic example of the GOP reaching for something to smear Obama with.

When I start indepentantly searching each side I find insincereity and propaganda mostly on one side. I usually find the stories before the media or government starts reporting them nationally. Sometimes I wonder why they wait so long to report what I think is news. Hugo Chavez became an issue with me at the end of 2007 when he attempted to dissolve their democratic constitution and replace it with Socialism. What country are you from and in?

operation ajax isn't propaganda -look it up. the only reason why hugo chavez is relevant is because venezuela has plenty of oil. -look up the jesuits before parroting stuff about communism and socialism. speaking of propaganda, you do notice that the rhetoric towards iran is similar to that towards iraq. they are misquoting iran's leader to prepare the country for another war. don't be naive and believe everything the government tells you.

the government via the CIA has been acting like terrorists by overthrowing elected governments all over the world, and especially in the middle east. operation ajax in 1953 in but one example. the "middle eastern terrorists" you speak of mostly people who rebel against american invasion. its amazing that you readily accepted the notion that "middle easterm terrorists" bombed our country. anyone with decent critical thinking skills would realize the inanity of the official story of 9/11.

This is a huge issue! Middle eastern terrorists bombed our country and want us dead. Our enemy before this was Communism. When our enemy was Communism Obama sought our Marxist professors and radical students. His own words. These radical students he found it appears were domestic terrorists trying to overthrow our government with Communism. Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Hamas have recently endorsed Obama. Sounds important.

the weathermen aren't running for president. and since when does anyone care about ties to terrorists? if fox news dug into bush's past the way they do obama, they would notice the ties between the bin ladens and the bush family. i like how people focus on a candidates past and not on the issues that face americans at large.

Obama'll be terrorists' worst enemy. He won't be selling a war on fear, bankrupting the country and projecting us as a bully. He's smart enough to know that democracy doesn't grow from nothing. It's more than the right to vote (which put Hamas in power). It's having real political choices and above all educated voters. He's too smart to think that terrorists hate us for our way of life! Rather its an inconsistent foreign policy calling for democracy but supports the dictators of the Middle East

1.) I have a video they made and they referred to them as Underground Weathermen.

2.) The Islamic Terrorist first bombing in 1993 was not lethal also.

3.) the charges were dropped because some of the evidence was obtained illegally by the FBI.

4.) On Sept 11, 2001, the New York Times interviewed Bill Ayers and he was unrepentant, didn't deny setting bombs off in the capital and pentagon and said he wished they did more.

Actually it's the Weather Underground, not the Underground Weatherman. And I advise you to read up on that as much as you can, because 1) all of the Weather Underground bombings were NONLETHAL in the first place, and 2) all the charges against Bill Ayers were dropped 40 years ago.

Good video. There is another relationship you missed in this video which is more profound. During the debate with Hillary, George asked him about his relationship with Bill Ayers and the fund raiser which helped launch his political career. He failed to address the question fully. The question is on You Tube and also his answer. Hillary called him on it. Bill Ayers and his wife were founders of the Underground Weathermen.
