BES Bonaire Waste Management

December 2008, the government of Bonaire started to charge people who need to drop their waste at the landfill. What Mr. Dortolino, who is the director and head of Bonaire waste management does not understands is that people who do the effort of separating their waste needs to be able to enter for free at the landfill and the people who do not take this effort can be charged! There has been a first effort of Mr. Dortolino to separate waste: glass has its own pile, fridges, garden waste or house hold waste has received their separated dropping zones at the landfill. We do hope that soon we will be able to recycle some of these products and reuse them.
