My stock 2005 V6 Mustang vs Stealth/3000GT @ KCIR

My friend Bryan driving my stock 2005 S197 V6 4.0 Mustang to a 15.5 @ 92 mph babying it. (I suck at the launch but I am normally able to trap about 95 mph or so). Test n tune night at KCIR.

3/s a propely tuned 3000gt/dodge stealth/gto will defeat all on street track and strip next time think b4 you cal one a ricer cus they put down 100hp/liter stock that deffenetly does not leave any room for anyone to call it a ricer and fart cans look good in moderation as they do with my 3k thanks and good day sir :)

when its actually a v6. Im convinced that you have no idea what you are talking about since you just called the gto a "ricer". and that exhaust tone is NOT coming from that gto 100% sure unless it has a v8 engine swap wich no1 would do haha.

@upuhrs my 94 3000gt base only has 222 hp but if you tune up the engine and give it some love, it will own alot of cars on the road.

Maybe in your area but the fact is that there are more mustangs made in one year than there were 3000gts in all 10 years. Its the rarer car its a fact.

@696969Brian696969 No offense - but I see a lot more 3k's than I see of Mustang's, at least in my area. I will agree that you see a lot more SN95's, Fox body's, and New edge Mustangs than you do of 3k's but I definitely see more 3k's than S197's and newer Mustangs.

@HenryInKC yea, i can top 40 mpg in my fiero shifting early on the revs and being light on the fuel... but casual driving thats efficient, it drops to 30 or so...

@upuhrs Easy lil kid, I never once claimed the lil V6 Mustang was fast, it was just a daily driver that I paid Cash for. I have another car that I drag race.

By the way, my definition of "Ricer" is referring to the fact that it had "Fart Cans" on it, and is "Import" based.

@HenryInKC I'm trying not to troll but I shift at 2100rpm and cruise around 1300 - 1500rpm. And I never get over 20 maybe 21 =] I think you need to check again you sexy person.

@wolf1010 Kansas City is not as bad as say Chicago, New York or Boston. So keeping throttle at 25% or Less, and shifting at 2,000 - 2,500 rpm is how I was able to get those kinda MPG's from a Mustang.

@HenryInKC that's what I hear from every former mustang owner. They're great cars. A friend of mine had an 03 cobra, within 30 seconds of riding in the car I knew that my next car will be a mustang.
