@SOS763 I can remember being 9-10, which was about 1986-1987. I had "Now that's what I call music" tape with a Billy Ocean song that I really loved. Then my neighbour made me listen to Piece of Mind and Appetite for Destruction. Had to wait for Lies and I remember to this day where I was when I first heard You Could Be Mine.

I can remember being about 9-10, which was about 1990-1991. My Mum had bought me all three albums on cassette for christmas. But even at that age, you could feel and were fully aware of how big Guns N' Roses really were. They were fucking huge. And when they were good, they were very good, as Locomotive proves.

That intro may qualify as the best in music history. Axl can be a douche at times these days, but no denying he was a genius. It's impossible not to listen to that intro and not start bopping your head. Pure genius.
