  • very excellent! I love the message, except you said christians don't stop sinning just have a new relationship with sin. 1 John says if you have God's seed in you... you can't go on sinning. Jesus always said to stop sinning, leave your life of sin(John 8:11), repent or perish(luke 13). 1 John 3 says that he that is sinful is the child of the Devil, not God. Jesus gave an example to follow in his footsteps, he didn't sin or deceive(1 peter 2:21-2)."Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect"

  • @rtslayer I dont know who you are or how you read the bible, but i´ve read 1. John and noticed the phrase "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." If you've stopped sinning i would like to meet you. The truth is that we all sin. The difference is as said in the video: "... it means that we have a new relationship with sin." The point is that our sin is covered by Jesus if we repent. That´s what the church has always taught. Please send me a link!

  • continued... It is a spiritual battle we fight and we are more than conquerors in Christ, we can do all things through him who gives us strength (not talking about dunking a basketball here, but the spiritual battle). If you aren't born of God then seek and you will find!

    God bless!

  • continued... say about the deeds/heart condition that is sinful?), yes confess your sins (not just admit) and God is faithful and just and will forgive you and cleans you from all unrighteousness 1 Jn 1:9. The truth is if you actually said the same as Christ about sin you would hate it so much you COULDN'T continue in it, how's that for a new relationship with sin?!

  • continue... perhaps if your new relationship to sin is the same as Christ's then it would be right. In 2 peter 1:9 we have been cleansed of our PAST sins. 1 Jn 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him, he cannot go on sinning because he is born of God. IF you sin, confess (biblically means to say the same as or agree) your sin (that would be to agree that your deeds/heart is sinful, to God that is an abomination, abhorrent and hated. Is that what you

  • continued... Don't let anyone lead you astray! He who does what is sinful is of the devil. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. Satan told this lie in the Garden, "you will not surely die" while convincing Eve to sin, after God said they would. PEOPLE tell Satan's lie that you can sin and not die, after Jesus said to repent or parish, luke 13

  • @vidnesbyrd sorry never enough room to write everything to explain! When you read 1 Jn. read it all and realize that scripture cannot be broken (Jesus said). No one is without sin (except Christ), we have all sinned, Yes! if you continue to read to chapter 2 or 3 you will find that you have not come to know God if you don't obey his commands. You MUST repent! Stop sinning, put to death the acts of the sinful nature 1 Cor. 8 by living in the spirit.

  • God gets a lot of glory out of saving the worst of sinners....Amen, it is for God's glory that He chose to save me. If I had anything to do with His saving me then I deserve some of the glory for my salvation, may that never be...it is for Gods glory "my" faith in Him sustains me, since my faith was given to me by Him in the first place even the good works I do bring glory to Him. If it where not so I think I should never had needed Christ in the first place. I hope I stated that correctly.

  • keep up the good work Cam!

  • Awesome Gospel presentation.
