Thanks Elle! I'm still confused though. Dr. Mirkin says that your stomach acid is so strong it will neutralize anything you drink. Then your pancreas secretions in your intestine make it alkaline again. So it does not matter what you drink. Is he a quack? I'll bet he's selling something or other. He probably does not believe in the power of pyramids, like you guys do. Also good to know your machine has been tested by the FDA.

And at least I can afford SD-501 since it's only $40.00

@budlift Okay- many corrections are needed here- TRUTH. 1st Our machines have not been tested by the FDA nor do we want that. They have been approved as a medical device in Japan and by Japan's FDA only. 2nd- Yes Dr. Mirkin is right however water is absorbed through the the stomach walls. Stomach acid is only secreted for digesting food, not water. 3rd- Our machines start at 1,260. And 3rd- we are not a pyramid or an MLM, we are a direct selling company. Call me we can discuss...

@budlift And no Enagic rep that I know of believes in the power of pyramids, we believe in the power of the water. Enagic is successful because the water works. only 11% of machine owners become distributors- that means 89% are just drinking the water with no interest in making a business out of it. What does that tell you?

Hey Mike, that's a really enlightening presentation! I'm a little confused though, you said Kangen water is free, but I heard you have to pay over $100 for one of your machines, is that true? $100 seems a lot for water. Then I saw this link by a guy named Dr. Gabe Mirkin. He is an MD with four board certifications, but is he a quack or what? He says your stomach and pancreas handle all without the $100. I'm confused

@budlift Have you tried the water yet? If not, contact me so I can find someone in your area who can share water with you. If you FEEL better and you feel that it helps you then make a personal choice. As far as the cost, we let people try the water for free verses other companies that sell knock-offs. Our machines start at 1260, and the SD-501 is 4000.

However, I did do a little research and found out some alarming facts about Dihydrogen Monoxide, a principal ingredient in Kangen Water:

- Death can occur due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.

- DHMO is a major component of acid rain.

- Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.

- Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.

- Often associated with deadly hurricanes in the southeastern U.S.
