i was recommended from one of the sistas on you tube she told me to dilute your direct leave in, pour like a 1/3 cup to a 8oz spray bottle, and add your filtered water or just plain water, shake it up and there you go, spray it, i do this now, and love how the giovanni does for my hair when its watered down,...HTH

@productjunkiediva just opened my sample pkg (given in mid-may) and the size is .34 fl oz for each sample of damage remedy shampoo, conditioner and reconstructing treatment. those might get me through 2 washes, depending on how concentrated they are. mixed chicks has some really nice samples. i bought shampoo, deep CO & leave-in Co for $0.39 each & they each gave me 2 washes. i actually still have some leave-in and i have a considerable amount of thick hair. very pleased with their samples.

Is your hair natural or relaxed?

@Skye525 HI- I'm relaxed, my sister is natural which is why I mention her hair from time to time. Although I am relaxed I don't perm every 6- 8 weeks, for me it's more like every 4-5 months.
Are you relaxed or natural?

@productjunkiediva Oh ok...My hair is relaxed. I've use DirectLeave-in off and on for a couple of years, but I always use a spray leave-in prior to applying creamy leave-in conditioners or I mix both and use the spray bottle method.
I asked about your hair because some products work better on certain hair textures. The Direct Leave-In is concentrated. Diluting it with a liquid leave-in or distilled water will allow for a no-residue application. Try it.
