even with no guide rod it ran just fine lol these guns are marvels of engineering and have been since their inception. i own personally own 2 a g30 sf and a gen4 g19 both are awesome.

i'm soon to buy the g36 and g26 as new concealed carry options gotta love a glock as hickok45 would say:")

I didn't even think the gun would continue to shoot without the guide rod! I mean in every gun, I woulda thought that would be a catastrophic failure of the gun! I mean that would be like a engine loosing all of it's connecting rods and continuing to run. Man I'm glad I got a G23 for my carry weapon

I've recently become a gun enthusiast and I've been researching what make and models and good (for the buck lol). I went to a local shooting range in Torrance, CA and I was advised that the Glock 19 was a great gun. From the first moment that I fired it, I was hooked! Since then, I have been reviewing the gun via Internet, YouTube, word of mouth etc... I've yet to come across any major negative comments that have put me off on purchasing my fist Glock. Id like to thank the poster of this video
