Splashy Fen 2011 Music Festival

Established in 1990, Splashy Fen is South Africa's longest-running annual music festival. Every Easter this five-day event attracts thousands of people from around the country and abroad to a farm near Underberg in KwaZulu-Natal for what is regarded by many as the ultimate outdoor music experience.
This year's festival -- the 22nd since its inception -- runs from April 21 to 25 and once again promises a varied line-up of more than 90 of the hottest live music acts in the country, backed by top-class sound, lighting and stage production. Also on offer are fun outdoor activities for the whole family, colourful arts and crafts, a wide variety of food and drink outlets, as well as various camping and accommodation options.
"With its stunning mountain vistas and unique vibe and character, there is simply nothing else in South Africa quite like Splashy Fen," says festival organiser Pedro of C-Weed Entertainment Promotions. "Preparations for the festival are already well underway and we'll be announcing a number of exciting new developments in the coming weeks, all geared towards making this one of the best Splashys yet!"
