After reading background articles on AARP's June 17 decision not to oppose Medicare cuts, it became glaringly obvious that the deal was done. A review of this video footage -- especially the intriguing nonverbals of Arizona AARP Advocacy Director Steve Jennings -- confirm that the subsequent series of "town halls" were nothing but theater designed to delude the American public into thinking they have a voice. Any farm girl knows that a dead cow rots from the inside, and the signs we are seeing now are mold on the carcass of democracy that is about to burst with all the rot and corruption within. It is in the interest of the corporate elite to keep us grooming and perfuming that corpse as long as possible.
This video is my thank you to Raul Grijalva and all congressional who voted against the debt ceiling debacle. Please continue to stand and speak for the people -- and the foundations of our country.
