Iberian Wolves and wild cattle in Soria (Spain)

In province of Soria, the wolf has lived with "Serrana Negra" cattle since ancient times. This breed retains its primitive survival instinct like the great wild hervibores. When this breed is threatened the adult flee in search of their calves to introduce them in a safe control perimeter that will keep the pups safe from wolves and bears.

En la provincia de Soria, el lobo ha vivido con la raza "Serrana Negra" desde tiempos antiguos. Esta raza conserva su instinto de supervivencia primitivo como también lo han hecho los grandes herviboros silvestres. Cuando esta raza se ve amenazada los adultos huyen en busca de sus crías para introducirlos dentro de un perímetro de seguridad para mantenerlos a salvo de lobos y osos.

These must have been one of the cattle breeds the Spanish brought to the Americas. They seem quite similar in appearance and behavior to our longhorns, corrientes and florida crackers.

podolians form a cyrcle to protect their calves too, but this is an intriguing breed! it has white ring around its mouth like brown swiss and busha, but it's calves are born brown, like podolians! amazing!
