Starting your child ski early, opens a world of adventure, fun laughter and beautiful scenery. A Funny video.
Some Skiing Suggestions:
Ski helmets are a good idea.
When your child wears a ski helmet, Remember, to get your childs attention you may have to raise your voice more, because a helmet may impede their hearing. Please aslo make sure the helmet fits correctly.
Good idea to for kids to wear a turtleneck, sweater and waterproof jacket.
Kids should also wear gloves.
Be sure they wear sun protection, even on cloudy days as the sun reflects off the snow and is stronger than you think!
Kids should always wear sunglasses and goggles for eye protection.
It's a good idea for kids to take ski classes to get them on the right track. Children's instructors know how to teach kids.
Make sure your child knows when to stop skiing.
Make a meeting place if you get separated.
