  • Thank you so much for posting this video. Two of my daughters have SPD, the oldest is 10 and the youngest is 3. I was able to show it to my oldest and she was able to see that there are other kids out there dealing with the same life issues that she is. We live in a small town, and she is the only one in her grade with SPD, but now she no longer feels alone. Thank you!!

  • This is an amazing video that brought tears to my eyes. I know this was 2 years ago but I hope that all your struggles have made you stronger and that you know there are many out there who support you and wish you well in your journey.

  • oh and im 15...i go to high school...so put SPD and high school together and its a living hell.

  • this made my cry!:( i have spd (audio hypersensitivity)...and its the hardest thing in my life. and i am actually not officially diagnosed....all the doctors and audiologists and psychologists ive gone to dont even understand what im talking about, they dont realize how painful it really is :(

  • I am so thankful for you sharing. My son and i BOTH have SPD/SD. if you would please takew the time to watch the video I made for Malikye I would be grateful. I wish we could get our boys together - I bet they would be buddies :) Malikye doesn't have many friends either because kids are just so damn mean and their parents dont teach them different is not less!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. You say exactly how I feel and how my 3 year old son feels. It hurts my heart to know that our children are suffering. God Bless you and your little super hero!

  • Thank you for taking the time to post this video. I cried all the way through it (twice) because I have heard my six year old son say those exact words many times. He tries so hard but nothing comes easy for him and it helps to know others out there understand what he has to endure daily. He was diagnosed with SPD about six months ago after going through brain surgery for Chiari 1 malformation. Therapy has helped and he is a straight A student but struggles to make that happen. We are blessed.

  • @HunterToJumper Just be there for your son, and support him, be willing to talk if he needs it, etc. But the main thing right now is to get an official diagnoses, you don't want to be mistreating a different disorder. (and if it makes you feel any better, I turned out great so far. Am a very good kid, Top 15 of my class of 311, on my way to college. Have very good, caring friends, and am not mixed up in any bad things. So long as your son has the support he needs, he'll turn out great)

  • @crzybeautiful3 Well, first of I'll I'd get an official diagnosis, many different disorders have some of the same symptoms, and it could be a serious problem if he was treated for SPD and had something else. My parents really helped me by being supportive overall. They had me to occupational therapy when I was younger, and that gave me a good tolerance base. Also, when I was being bullied in school and just couldn't fit in they homeschooled me for 3 years, before we moved to another town.
